CARLSON/STROM: New Performance Video Exhibition, DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park
A series of simple but carefully articulated walls create five black box theaters in a 4,000 SF open exhibition hall. Each theater space holds a singular video piece, however the circulation sequence between these dividing walls as well as framed views through scrim openings begin to craft a narrative between the video pieces and the spectator. The viewers physical experience of the exhibition reinforces some of the themes occurring in the video works themselves.
